Nature-based Solutions in Cities, Part 2: Mainstreaming Nature-Based Solutions into Planning

As the main instrument for implementing the Convention on Biological Diversity, National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs) are seen as a key framework for mainstreaming considerations for wildlife and nature for nations — but can these frameworks easily scale down the city or town level? In Part 2 of the Nature-based Solutions in Cities series, with a focus on U.S. action, ICLEI Cities Biodiversity Center is joined by Biophilic Cities Network and Sustainable Development Code, which recently relaunched an updated Wildlife Subchapter, to provide an overview of city-scale biodiversity action plans.
