On April 27th, 2023, the U.S. Department of State officially launched and co-sponsored Cities Forward, in partnership with ICLEI, Resilient Cities Catalyst, and Institute of the Americas, as its flagship urban sustainability initiative. This transformative program aims to help create a sustainable, inclusive, and resilient future through a peer-to-peer exchange with U.S. and Latin America and the Caribbean cities.
