Before the cohort, twenty Flordia communities were starting their climate action journey. All communities undertook their first community-wide greenhouse gas inventory, which led to planning for reduction strategies and sustainability action. Overall, the cohort lends itself to regional action based on community locations.
ICLEI USA supported local and regional climate action planning efforts by assisting 20 Florida communities in developing community-wide greenhouse gas inventories.
