This capacity-building cohort provides structured technical assistance on climate vulnerability assessments and adaptation planning to local governments that have joined the Race to Resilience initiative.
ICLEI will provide participants with:
- Live, 1-hour web-based sessions monthly for five months
- Individualized assistance on vulnerability assessments, adaptation planning, and Race to Resilience commitments during dedicated technical support “virtual office hours” for the duration of 2023
- Peer exchange and learning, including climate adaptation best practices from internationally recognized plans / planners
- ICLEI’s Vulnerability Assessment Toolkit, templates, and other resources
Note: Joining the Race to Resilience is required for participation in this cohort. To join, an elected official must sign this commitment form, which then needs to be submitted to ICLEI USA.
