Catalyzing Local Resilience Action and the Next Generation of Leaders: The Colorado Resilience Engine (CORE) Internship Program

This session explored practical ways to advance community resilience projects, from shaping strong plans to preparing shovel-ready initiatives. Colorado communities shared how they partnered with graduate students through the ICLEI USA CORE Internship Program to deliver measurable outcomes, reflect on lessons learned, and outline opportunities for future involvement.

The conversation featured insights from three communities that turned resilience goals into visible progress in Louisville, Englewood, and Grand Junction.
