The Tampa Bay Regional Climate Pollution Reduction Grant project supported local governments in meeting the EPA’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) requirements. By completing these requirements, municipalities became eligible to apply for federal implementation funding to advance climate action.
ICLEI USA provided technical assistance, including greenhouse gas inventory development and emissions reduction projections, to support the creation of both a Priority Climate Action Plan and a Comprehensive Climate Action Plan.
The project equipped local governments with essential climate data and planning tools, positioning them to secure funding for emissions reduction initiatives and long-term sustainability efforts.
