Including Health in Sustainability Planning: Guidebox to Healthy Places

Human well-being is central to a sustainable, resilient community. Yet, too often health is absent from sustainability planning efforts in cities, towns, and counties. By exploring design interventions for green corridors, food access, and mobility for all, the Colorado Healthy Places Collaborative has assembled a Guidebox for Healthy Communities — useful for any community — to address health outcomes in planning. Join Colorado Center for Sustainable Urbanism’s Rocky Piro and Commerce City, CO’s Robin Kerns for a discussion on how the Guidebox can work in your community.
