Climate and Sustainability Communications Cohort

This capacity-building cohort provides structured technical assistance on climate and sustainability communications for local governments.

ICLEI will provide participants with:

Live, 1-hour web-based sessions monthly for three months
Individualized assistance on climate and sustainability communications through 30-minute 1-on-1 scheduled consultations
Peer exchange and learning, including climate and sustainability best practices from leading experts
ICLEI USA’s Climate and Sustainability Communications Toolkit, templates, and other resources

Registrations will be accepted through 7/05/2024, or until maximum capacity is reached. You will be notified about the status of your registration by 7/10/2024.

Value

There is no additional cost to participate. Participants will receive 3 hours of group instruction, access to 30-minute 1-on-1 scheduled consultations, and access to our Climate & Sustainability Toolkit.

Who Will Participate

Up to 20 ICLEI members will participate. This cohort is not limited to those with defined Communications roles. Government staff working in any department who have an interest in boosting their sustainability communications will find value.

Effort Level

Participants will attend three hours of live virtual training sessions. Participants are encouraged to put their learning into practice by advancing a project in their departments that can benefit from a communications component. They are also encouraged to schedule 30-minute 1-on-1 scheduled consultations. Hours will vary.
