The Baltimore-Columbia-Towson Climate Pollution Reduction Grant project supported local governments in meeting the EPA’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) requirements. By fulfilling these requirements, municipalities became eligible to apply for federal implementation funding to advance climate action.
ICLEI USA provided technical assistance, including greenhouse gas inventory development and emissions reduction projections, to support the creation of both a Priority Climate Action Plan and a Comprehensive Climate Action Plan.
The project equipped local governments with critical climate data and planning resources, enabling them to pursue funding for impactful emissions reduction initiatives.
