Author and Top 30 thought leader Dr. Stefanie Johnson shows why institutional diversity and inclusion is more important than ever amidst Covid-19 and Black Lives Matter. She will discuss the unconscious biases that hold us back from diversity — in city and county administration, departmental leadership, and organizations — and provide practical solutions for creating change. Dr. Stefanie K. Johnson is an Associate Professor of Management at the University of Colorado Boulder’s Leeds School of Business. She was recognized by Thinkers50 as one of the top 30 thought leaders in management for 2020 and the “authoritative voice on inclusivity and diversity.” Her research focuses on the intersection of leadership and inclusion. Dr. Johnson’s book, Inclusify, was released by Harper Collins June 2 2020 and was named as a must read for “all managers who want to build diverse and happy teams should preorder right now,” by Business Insider, hit #1 on Amazon’s Hot New Releases and was named one of the 15 leadership books to read this summer by Adam Grant.
