What can we learn from the COVID-19 pandemic to increase climate change resilience and achieve net-zero goals in communities across Canada? How does addressing social vulnerabilities and integrating equity, inclusion, and diversity into climate actions influence the success of local adaptation and mitigation efforts?

The 10th Livable Cities Forum will bring together leaders, climate experts, and local practitioners from across Canada to explore these questions and the synergies that exist between complex issues facing our communities through an equity lens. Sessions are also being uniquely designed to go beyond presentation-style delivery and will include many interactive and engaging workshops, training, discussion forums, networking, and hands-on learning opportunities.

✔ Gain insight from Canadian and international experts on leading edge adaptation and mitigation practices that are central to the future prosperity and well-being of our cities and communities.

✔ Share experiences, strategies, and lessons learned with experts, leaders, innovators, and practitioners from across Canada who can support you on your climate action journey.

✔ Explore the beauty of Victoria and the surrounding area through study tours, and see how it has become a leading city in sustainable design and climate action.
